About EASA Part 66 Module 9 + Safety Training — Initial
This combined initial course covers the human factors knowledge of EASA Part-66 Module 9 together with the safety training including human factors that Part-145 maintenance organisations provide under 145.A.30(e), with reference to GM1 145.A.30(e) and GM2 CAMO.A.305(g). Passing a Module 9 examination does not by itself replace an organisation’s 145.A.30(e) safety training, and completing safety training does not replace the Module 9 examination — this course is built to address both needs in one place.
The 12 lessons cover the general introduction to human factors, human performance and limitations, social psychology, factors that affect performance, the physical environment, tasks, communication, human error, safety management in two parts, and the ‘Dirty Dozen’ with risk mitigation.
This course contains no exam and no pass mark — it ends with a completion certificate. For aircraft maintenance licence applicants, Module 9 knowledge is required under 66.A.25; the official Module 9 examination is a separate step, taken with a Part-147 approved organisation or the competent authority, never with MOST.AERO. Appendix I applies a single knowledge-level column for Module 9 across licence categories.
For Part-145 organisations, AMC4 145.A.30(e)(b) expects initial safety training before staff start a job function, and the same rule wording applies in UK Part-145, where SI 2023/588 came into force on 1 July 2024 with the CAA as competent authority.
Delivery is fully online and self-paced: 12 lessons of presentation with audio. A digital certificate is emailed the same day you complete the course, and your certificate page includes one-click options to add it to your LinkedIn profile or share it with your network.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Who is most.aero?
most.aero is a virtual aviation training platform developed by Aeroviser offering premium virtual aviation training courses complying with applicable requirements and regulations for online completion.
-
Are your certificates valid worldwide?
All our courses are developed by qualified aviation professionals and compliant with applicable syllabus requirements. We have numerous clients worldwide, all of whom accept our certificates. However, it is up to the organization whether to accept training certificates. All syllabus is available within each course description. There is no EASA prescribed organisation approval to deliver such training courses. Those courses are all outside of the scope of EASA 147 Aproval.
-
How do your courses look like?
All courses on this platform are developed by qualified and experienced aviation professionals by following the requirements defined in aviation legislations. All courses contain premium quality presentation slides with voice over.
-
Does this course cover both Module 9 and Part-145 safety training?
Yes. The content follows the EASA Part-66 Module 9 human factors syllabus and the safety training topics of GM1 145.A.30(e). Note that passing a Module 9 examination does not by itself replace an organisation’s 145.A.30(e) safety training, and vice versa — this course is built to serve both needs.
-
Does this course include an exam?
No. There is no exam, quiz or pass mark in this course — it ends with a completion certificate. The official Part-66 Module 9 examination is a separate step, taken with a Part-147 approved organisation or the competent authority, never with MOST.AERO.
-
Is the knowledge level the same for every licence category?
Yes. Part-66 Appendix I applies a single knowledge-level column for Module 9, so the same levels apply across licence categories.
-
What do I receive when I complete the course?
A digital certificate is emailed the same day you complete the course. Your certificate page also includes one-click options to add the certificate to your LinkedIn profile or share it with your network.
-
Is this a Part-66 Module 9 course online?
Yes. It covers the ten Appendix I sub-modules 9.1 to 9.10 as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2023/989 and, in the same course, the initial Part-145 safety training including human factors under 145.A.30(e). It is self-paced and ends with a completion certificate.
-
Does the course include the Module 9 examination?
No. MOST.AERO courses end with a completion certificate and contain no examination. The Part-66 Module 9 examination, 28 multiple-choice questions in 35 minutes under Appendix II point 2.9, with the 75 per cent pass mark set in Appendix II, is sat separately with a Part-147 organisation or the competent authority.

Where this certificate is accepted
EASA does not approve individual training courses, online or classroom. Under point 145.A.30(e) the maintenance organisation decides, through the procedures in its MOE, which training meets its competency standard, and the competent authority accepts that MOE. That applies to Part-145 organisations in every EASA member state and, under UK Part-145 and SI 2023/588, in the United Kingdom. Read Is online HF, FTS and EWIS training accepted? before you buy for a team. The Part-66 basic knowledge examination is sat separately with a Part-147 organisation or the competent authority; this course prepares for it and contains no examination.
